WAY OF THE HERO

Ramana's Path is the brave hero's way!
His 'diving into the heart' is axe honed sharp,
To cut the knot which binds us to body's sway;
So play 'Surrender's Song' on heart's gold harp,
Setting ourselves free one glorious day.

We hear the bugle call 'wake up from sleep,
This is the hour of awakening's time',
Behind the veil, the Self does shyly peep,
Waiting for us to touch her hem sublime,
She summons us to strongly dive down deep!.

Whatever may be one's inward weather,
One must take shelter from sense bound storms,
Or mind will reach the end of it's tether,
And break out of all acceptable norms.
We gather powers of attention together!

Persistence is needed each night and morn,
To practice vichara with all might and main,
Then we gladly glimpse red radiant dawn,
Of soul's arising from its pall of pain,
To start a true new life once more reborn!

Constant Surrender and Atma Vichara,
This direct way is his great gift of Grace,
To free us from pale prison of samsara,
And let Self fly free in a fairer space.
We climb the mountain path of Sri Ramana!
